VICTORIA MANTHORPE

A combination of English and Canadian education culminated in 3 years at Sherborne School for Girls. Victoria Manthorpe graduated from the University of Toronto in 1976 with a 4-year Honours degree in History, having won a Victoria University scholarship for excellence in History. She worked as a theatre technician (props and costumes), and a television copywriter for many years and recently read for an MA in Biography at the University of East Anglia, graduating with Distinction in 2004, UEA prize for best Dissertation (on Professor Ernest Weekley) and was short-listed for the PFD biography prize.
